my daughter who is doing a journalism degree as chosen for her dissertation the hillsborough tragedy which she feels strongly about, it as to be done in four categories, after much deliberation she as chosen hooliganism and why fans were treated like animals, the tragedy itself, the reforms of the stadia and the fans feelings about it for example a lot of fans have voiced that they miss the terraced areas, and lastly the new campaign for justice headed by the mirror and new evidence from former police witnesses. the dilemma is who does she contact and who does she interview without causing any pain. any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

wish her the best of luck from me.
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

thanks for the replies people much appreciated, she has a lot of angles to work from namely my mates that were that day and a few people sadly on the hooligan angle all reformed i am pleased to say,we just seemed to have hit a wall surrounding the investigation which i suppose is expected with new evidence becoming available, but there just seems to be a distrust from authors and liverpool supporting journalist who at the minute have not replied to emails,my advice to her for what its worth (you only have to see my bad punctuation and spelling to know she doesn't take after me) is to write letters and describe in detail who she is and what she is about instead of the an impersonal email, these people are busy and there spare time is of a minimum she just has to be persistent without being rude.thanks again

the digital archive on timesonline.co.uk and guardian would be an invaluable resource. I'd imagine the college has a faculty login for both. If they don't, a simple request would impel them to subscribe. There are some very relevant articles in there from the years before and the consequential months after the day. Some tasteful ragouts of the pages (from the pdfs) would give balance.
I'd also advise contacting AP or Getty for some photographic backup to the dissertation. They'd be very lenient with costs for academic purposes.
