We're on the heals of the scum. This is such a different team to the one even at the start of the season. Thought Yossi was brilliant. He must've run 100km's today!
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

This is what we all wanted, competing to the bitter end.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Good performance, good win. Could have been ten, Newcastle are woeful.

I think we've run out of games though.

Hope Xabi and Masher are ok
Yossi also looked like he was grimacing at the end of the game as he walked off - probably just tired though - he played his socks off..

                  Good from our lads

embarrassing by Newcastle - poor fans

Fair play to shearer post match. Well beaten by far superior side. Sending off correct.
"With Ron Yeats in defence, we could play Arthur Askey in goal."

Yup saw that too, very honest

Stroll in the park really, they were terrible. Started brightly tho actually, thought they might give us a game, alas they crumbled half way through the first

For some reason I dont want Newcastle to go down, tho playing like that, it looks pretty likely
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Anyone else got a feeling that could be the last time we've seen Alonso as a red.

I really hope not. He's one of our best players we need to keep him
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Just got on coach after the game, that was all a bit easy. Felt sorry for Newcastle fans until they cheered Barton off. Embarrassing on their behalf.

Would give MoM to Yossie. He's been awesome lately.

Lad sat with me had £5 on Yossie first goal scorer and 3-0 at 50-1. He shat himself when Gerrard hit the bar!

Again, goalkeeper was their best player on the pitch. Should be 8:0.
