I think Lucas played more like Mascherano than Mascherano did today. Mascher was trying to spray long balls around like Alonso when a short pass might have been more beneficial. Can't complain anyway, another 3 points another 3 goals to the GD! We're giving it our best shot, come on City!!!

Thought we played well today.

Sat back a little while we were 1-0 up but away from home, the home side will always have some kind of period of pressure. The penalty came at a great time to kill off the game.

If this 'new Liverpool' becomes 'permanent Liverpool', i'm sure we'll win the title next year.

when we went 1-0 up we sat back and invited west ham onto us. As this was happening all i was thinking was spurs away as we did the same there by going 1-0 up and let spurs come onto us which cost us big time in the end. However we pushed on and got the killer 2nd goal. good game without having to really go for it.
