i know i am probably labouring this subject but this guy is so impressive,every aspect of his game is top notch, he defends well his positional play is superb he can go by players and rarely wastes the ball, i think he is probably the most exciting prospect we have had in years, and he has lost weight too, and looks the perfect athlete, my fabio poster is coming down and is being replaced with his.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the left back berth next year.

Will Dossena go? There's also rumours about Aurelio going to City.

Either way I'd be happy with Insua as our number one left back - there's a lot of room for improvement, but he's not a liabity defensively and whilst he's not as cultured as Aurelio going forward, he's certainly not scared to attack.

having said that the way Dossena took out lucas neil today after getting smashed in the face was pure class.

I think we'll keep Doss and probably see more of him at LM which is where he is more comfortable. Squad player at best at present

I also think the one to watch for the future is the under 17 German left back.
Chris Buchtmann scored his first goal for Germany in their opening match of the UEFA under-17 championship on Wednesday night. Very similar is stature to Insua but has a better eye for goal.

What an absolutely superb spot by Rafa and the scouting staff. He didn't play a single first team game for Boca Juniors. Rafa is getting some stick for Dossena in this thread yet not a peep of praise for this fantastic signing.
