Ill go for yes simply because in my mind us getting 86 points automatically means we have made the league harder for all the other teams and with the chavs and the arse still being competitive plus all the rest of the remaining teams playing for europe and therefore being decent it makes it the most competitive league ever. 86 will win it next year I reckon.

No, I'd hope to see an improvement on this season and while we may or may not get 86 points this season. I believe if we'd had key players mainly Torres fit for a larger part of the season we'd have had more this season. Fingers crossed that next season with a couple of good signings we can do better than thatThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

In the last 5 years 86 points has not been enough.
At the start and mid-season I thought 86 points would be enough. But our fantastic finish to the season has forced Man Utd to grind out results. They would nromally have tailed off towards the end, had they beat us at Old Trafford they would have and 86 points would have been enough to win it this year.
I can't see 86 points being enough next year. I would take 90 points. But even then it would depend on how well the other teams did, as Chelsea and Man Utd are all capable of racking up 90 points or more.Forwards.......

That is enough reason for me to vote no, if 86 points has not been enough for the last 5 years.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostIn the last 5 years 86 points has not been enough.

I do expect the league to get harder next year though, with an improved city, tottenham and villa.

No.
Love Rafa and this season as been most satisfying and exciting, even if ultimately we didn't quite get there.
However I want to see improvement.
If we get 90 points and finish second I'll be gutted but I'll accept it. As long as it's at least some improvement.
However I think we can be realistically optimistic about next year. The time as come. It will be ours.
