Arsenal v Liverpool - Youth Cup Final.

Be really interesting to see how our lads cope against the much hyped young gunners.

Whatever the score though I fancy a good game of football between two quality teams.

With all this in mind I'm thinking of going along. Should be able to convince a couple of others to tag along, dependant on work commitments.

Anyone else on here thinking about going? Be nice if we could get a good crowd down there for the lads. In particular London based reds like myself who hardly ever attend games up in Liverpool.

Will be easy to get a ticket and I suppose cheap enough. Don't think anyone needs a good excuse to drink on a Friday night, but if you do - This is it

This is an outstanding idea, what a plus for the young'uns to get some vocal support during the away leg.

Those that killed her, were following the law.

By the way in case it matters and for those of you who aren't aware - there is no segregated seating so you'll have to sit with a load of ****ty "we play the best football in the world eva" Arsenal fans

                      Top stuff lads/lasses.

Liverpool FC have released the following information regarding the FA Youth Cup final first leg against Arsenal at the Emirates (22/05/2009).
To be played at The Emirates Stadium, London
                      On Friday, May 22, 2009 at 8pm

Important: Tickets are only available to purchase from Arsenal Football Club and there will not be a segregated area for Liverpool supporters.

In person - tickets will be available from the Arsenal Box Office at the Emirates Stadium (North Bridge) from 9.30am - 5pm.

From 9.30am on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 until 5pm on Friday, May 22, 2009 (subject to availability) tickets will be priced as follows:

                      Over 65s £5.00
                      Child£5.00 (under 16)

Tickets can be purchased as follows:

In person only - tickets will be available from the Arsenal Box Office at the Emirates Stadium (North Bridge) from 9.30am-5pm.

Please note that tickets will be on sale until 5pm on Friday, May 22, 2009 (subject to availability). Therefore, we strongly urge supporters to purchase their tickets in advance.

NB: There will be no tickets available to purchase after 5pm on the night of the match.

The Lower Tier will be open – seating will be unreserved.

                      ------------------------------------------------------

Due to the above it's probably best to purchase tickets in advance, cheaper and ensures no last minute messing about. I checked out the London Liverpool supporters club website and they seem to be planning on being seated in the usual blocks away fans are in, so everyones toghether despite the lack of segregation.

I'll post again when I get a ticket sorted and will then look at sorting a pub to maybe meet before the game if everyones up for it.

Anyone wanting to get tickets needs to do it now. Over 80% of the ground is already sold out.

I just bagged 7 tickets together but they are at the corner flag

No segregated seating so you could sit anywhere?

I believe so although one half of the ground was completely sold out and I wondered if that was perhaps the more Arsenal-centric area. One quarter is listed as limited and seems to have a single section avilable and the final quarter which says available seating really has not much at all.

Anyone wanting a ticket needs to buy right now as I can see it being sold out very shortly.
