Maybe you're right but Forlan is a lot younger than Morientes is with a lot more pace.

He was ****e at United but he's been brilliant in Spain for lesser clubs for 5 seasons now.

I think he could do a job.

Fantastic record is Spain but he is a PL failure. 10 goals in 63 games. No thanks.

He also scored against Brazil in the 35th minute of the 2007 Copa América semi-final. However, he missed his shot during the subsequent penalty shootout, which Brazil ultimately won 5-4 .[2] Since the 2007 Copa America, Forlán has become a regular for Uruguay and often has a place in the starting 11. On 17 June 2008, he scored a hat trick in a World Cup qualifying game against Peru.
Well remembered mate, was a great volley that. Did you know that in 2009, Forlán appeared in a music video for Coti starring alongside Maxi Rodríguez?

Not sure there age differences, but would prefer to bring Kanoute back to the premier rather than forlan

Yes I did know that. I remember it well it was utterly cringe worthy. More interestingly Diego Forlán and Youri Djorkaeff were, respectively, members of the Uruguay and France squads that met in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Their fathers, Pablo and Jean, featured in the match between Uruguay and France at the 1966 FIFA World Cup.

                        Im older than you'd imagine

Oh and Forlan is actually a class player now, honestly, some of the goals he's scored this season have been absolutely sublime.

Still I dont want him, and he'd cost something similar to Aguero so its pointless, we all know who we'd prefer out of those two if we had the choice.

                              I dont rate Forlan.

I initially thought the stats might've related to Afonso Alves, who's record in Holland was insane.

Hasnt really helped much in the PL though.
