Looks like the club are going to appeal. If they do he will be availabe for the Utd game as apparently the process will take two weeks

According to Liverpool.no, a suspencion for a red card in a reserve game starts two weeks after the incident. They believe Liverpool Echo is wrong.

I felt so sorry for him. He finally got a game (as a sub), kept a clean sheet against Chelsea then Houllier went out and got a keeper on loan for the next few games until Dudek was fit again! It wasn't even as if he was that young, he was about 24.

To think, there are probably keepers out there who have never played a first team game for anyone. Remember Jorgen Neilson?

I suspect we probably would do just that if we had to, like we did with Paul Jones not so long ago, I'm sure the club would much rather do that than recall Carson or even Kirkland (if we could) for such a short period of time.

Very confused now, can we recall him or not? I'm still not sure we'd do it just for 3 games when the lad is getting the experience we hoped he would at Charlton, and it would just be to sit on the bench, I still think bringing in someone on a short-term loan or even just sticking Martin on the bench for 3 games would be the most sensible option - though if Reina gets injured or sent off I'd be cursing having thought that
