Thanjk you.

I've made this point a couple of times this year but yes, I think a bigger Anfield pitch could be helpful.
When a team has parked the bus and it's wave after wave of attack I think any additional space to play on would open things up a bit and could make the difference between an infuriating 0-0 and three points.
Utd are a good example, they have a larger pitch and look how often teams eventually crumble under the sheer pressure of their expansive game and possession play.
Isn't there some stupid FIFA/UEFA rule that says that the pitch has to be at least a certain size (length I think) to allow it to be considered for things like cup finals etc?
Besides the football and our style of play, do you think LFC would take that into consideration when building the stadium as well?
Dimensions
The length of the touch line must be greater than the length of the
goal line.
Length (touch line): minimum 90 m (100 yds)
maximum 120 m (130 yds)
Width (goal line): minimum 45 m (50 yds)
maximum 90 m (100 yds)
All lines must be of the same width, which must be not more than
12 cm (5 ins).
International Matches
Length: minimum 100 m (110 yds)
maximum 110 m (120 yds)
Width: minimum 64 m (70 yds)
maximum 75 m (80 yds)
The Goal Area
Two lines are drawn at right angles to the goal line, 5.5 m (6 yds) from
the inside of each goalpost. These lines extend into the fi eld of play
for a distance of 5.5 m (6 yds) and are joined by a line drawn parallel
with the goal line. The area bounded by these lines and the goal line
is the goal area.
benitez wont be still here when we get a new pitch and i doubt steve g will lead us out either. unless there is a takeover or groundshare in the immediate future
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Yes... IIRC There are also minimum limits on size for European games outside the laws of the game. Doesn't one of the Scottish teams play home European ties at an alternate venue?
I believe our high tempo game at the moment is our biggest threat, the way kuyt, gerrard, torres and the midfield hunt for the ball in packs is breathtaking and is a big part of what Rafa talks about when he speaks of mentality.
Look at the game against Arsenal for instance, we didnt give them any time at all and they crumbled (ignore their goals), the goals against the scum were from how we forced them into mistakes
I do understand where everyone is coming from with a bigger pitch but i believe we would also be giving up something which can be extra special for us when we get behind the team at anfield, close down all the space and really get at teams
