Babel will not Leave - Agent

    On SSN now.

Ryan Babel's agent has stated that the dutch winger will not leave Merseyside until he is a regular starter and is winning trophies.

So as soon as he is a regular starter and wins something, he will leave? Doesn't really make sense.

But if that is really Ryan's attitude then fair play to the lad.

Rafa told the agent to say that, to bump up the asking price.

I have a feeling he will be waiting quite a while (not for us to win a trophy that is, the other bit )

He needs a football mind, the ability is ther, but his feet work faster than his head.
IF that gets sorted out we have a good player on our hands.

Roughly translated: My agent has had no interest from any clubs as they are justifiably unwilling to pay my inflated wages, so i'm saving face and avoiding the wrath of the fans by saying I want to stay and stake my claim for a place.
However if someone does come in with a decent offer, I'll bugger off like a shot and bitch to the papers about never getting a fair go, fans not liking me. And then probably sulk in my home studio making dubious Dutch hip hop.

Personally i think the best bet would be to loan him out to another Premiership club for next season.

This will allow him to adjust to the Premiership, without affecting our form. It's not as if he is really needed at the moment.

Ruthless Rafa can easily persuade him there's no point sticking around if he really wants to get rid.

Exactly. Just like he did with Penna...
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

You can see this turning into a couple of loan deals with him leaving in a couple of seasons for **** all, can't you? He's probably on a fortune which other clubs will be reluctant to match.

3 years is a long time to wait out for a free though.
