Only a short clip but you can’t help but like what he’s saying about his style of play and approach.

I'm not expecting over night adaptation, but I know we have the right players for his style of football.

I said in a previous post that last year we bought players for a Klopp style of football, Slotball just didn't suit the players we have or bought. Again our plan seems to be the same.

I think this is why there was a sudden change of mind. To got the way Slot wanted to play meant a total reset and change of personnel on the pitch.

Iraola, will allow our players to express themselves, and not restricted their abilities on the pitch.

I'm really excited for the coming season now, I just wish it wasn't a month away ????
Yeah we’re stuck watching our players away on Int Duty where I’d prefer them relaxing on a beach somewhere.

Until now I was a bit up in the about his appointment, but I think he's ready for the step up.

Anyway here is the more detailed interview with the LFC tv

Anyhow I have no idea how I feel about Iraola right now, in two minds, this maybe another one of those transition years considering it's his first year though, so my expectations are ho hum right now...

This is what he has been working for, a chance to manage an elite club with elite players. It doesn't get any bigger. If he is successful then he stays longer. The short contract thing is very much a Spanish cultural way of doing things. Earn the right to more time, the reward for success.

I like him. He’s an energy giver - we need that.

Arne tried it a bit last season but it was out of character and his more laconic approach didn’t really capture the vibe.
