The problem with getting another striker is how much game time he would get and could we sell it to him?

Once Ekitike is fit again he would become 3rd choice and if we are only planning on playing 1 up top then that's a big ask to get someone of the required quality to potentially be 3rd choice in a few months time

We won't buy another striker. A loan move could make sense though.

Based on what I witnessed in the World Cup, this lad Dr Ketelare for Belgium looks a decent finisher.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Not sure if it's a pun that I'm not getting, or a real name....can't tell when it comes to Slinky

I looked him up during the World Cup and his club numbers weren’t anything to write home about. Currently halfway through a YouTube highlights video and there’s not a lot of goals. He seems like a Cody Gakpo who uses his height and strength a bit more but scores fewer goals.
            Never knowingly optimistic

In the short term: looking at this season we will be expecting to have at around (hopefully at least) 55 games (guaranteed 48 if we got out at the earliest stage possible in all comps) equates to ~5000mins, I don't think you want Isak to be playing more than ~3000 mins so there is at least 2000 mins there for another CF. Ekitike isn't back until sometime after Christmas and even then he is unlikely to be able to come back rapidly he will need fitness and a his minutes managed so most of that 2000mins is up for grabs what's the equivalent of 22 lots of 90 mins, and that's assuming Isak is available for more or less the whole season.

Obviously longer term that is more of an issue as you say they probably become 3rd choice in about a year, so it is about getting the right profile, either someone who can play there but can also play somewhere else (e.g. wide or as a backup #10) or bringing someone in on loan or a short term deal (someone older) or something. Looking at the at the side at the moment it looks very reliant on Isak getting a good chunk of the goals, if anything happens to him we are making the season difficult for ourselves. Goalscorers make the game much easier. IMO we'd be stupid to just go into the season with no experienced/senior back up to or rotation option for Isak.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
