i know this will sound a bit negative to some but i sometimes find that tomkins articles are too positive, i think a bit of constructive criticism can be a good thing

Enjoyed that. Some interesting stats there

I can see us really spanking some teams next season if we keep people fit. We're better than Rafa's Valencia team now imo, in fact there was a particular move against Spurs in the last game that was almost a carbon-copy of a goal Valencia scored against us where Aimar was involved in a little one-two on the right edge of the box

Getting excited about next season just thinking about it to be honest I was chatting to some mancs (well, two) the other day and they both said that L'pool are "sick" and "the best team in the league" at the moment

That's true, although you could say he just seeks to redress an imbalance with his take on things. Often he's addressing points like he does above re. rotation etc, which are certainly skewed the other way in usual circumstances by others. His articles are mostly as biased as they are wordy, but well worth reading nonetheless imo.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

And he does tend to attempt to back his points up with facts, rather than with the knockers, who blindly state their anti liverpool/rafa point without backing it up, or if they do it's with dubious or inaccurate statements.

very rare you read balanced articles nowadays.....most have an agenda. and as you know statistics can be used in so many ways......its just nice to have some positive ones to beat the mancs with.

I also dont think he is over the top biased, he just glosses over some negatives which as a liverpool supporter i have no problem with
