"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

I don't think it is the same as American football here as football
is so easy to play - American football without the requisite organisation is just throwing a ball about. It's not clear that it will take off but at the same time I don't think it is necessarily doomed.
OK, I'll swap my analogy round. It's like soccer in America.
      Oh I don't know.

1/6 of the world's population lives in India. That's a lot of people.

I think it's far from a stupid idea.

Also, as I've pointed out before, Carlsberg are expanding in India so it makes our shirt deal worth more to them which might be why they're willing to spend a record amount despite the world recession.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

          No argument there.

Fredo, I could give you a lesson about India conservative it is not, election time here some people get egged, where as deaths are common in India. I was in Calcutta when Mohun Bagan AC played East Bengal FC it's one of the scariest atmosphere I've ever witnessed. Also they have the second biggest football stadium in the world...

This city has two great football teams – Liverpool and Liverpool reserves

In Perth there's more Indians than Australians.

Besides, have you seen the racist attacks on Indian folks in Sydney?

When I went to America in 2003 I saw more people playing football while out and about than any other sport.

The massive advantage football has over most other sports: all you need is a ball (or something like it).

Yeah basically. Loads of migrants here as it's the closest Australian city to the Asian continent.

Is it true that you're of Asian origin yourself? Chinese, wasn't it?

Or Siamese. Or Burmese. Hell, I can't remember.
