Alonso & Mascherano to be the new Ronaldo's?

The press love transfer stories they drag on and on and are great for sensational headlines. Over the past 3 years Ronaldo has constantly been linked with a move from the scum to real madrid.

Does anyone else think now that story is dead the press will move onto Alonso (maybe Mascherano to) and even if one or both of them don't move this summer the press will constantly bring the story up every time either player doesn't start or is subbed???

Alonso yes, the fact rafa has tried to sell him last year, and now the big clubs are sniffing about will make them take it further.

The Alonso one seems like it already has, the stories were around last summer and have been brought up all through the season and revived again this summer. The press always have to have some of these stories to report on when it's a quiet day, to them it doesn't matter if it happens or not
