Rafa: Kuyt Injury Isn't That Bad

Rafael Benitez hasn't ruled Dirk Kuyt out of his plans for this weekend's Premiership clash with Blackburn.
The Dutch striker picked up an ankle injury while on international duty on Saturday, sparking fears he could miss a couple of games for the Reds.

But Kuyt is responding well to treatment at Melwood and could yet recover in time to play against Mark Hughes' side on Saturday afternoon.

"Dirk's injury isn't that bad," said Benitez today. "We can't say when he will be able to play, but he returned on Tuesday and had more treatment.

"It would have been better if we'd been able to treat him for another two days straight after his injury, but we will wait and see how he is before deciding when he can play."

Another thinly veiled attack at the national game from Rafa!

and further proof that Kuyt is the bionic man, he didn't miss a game in holland in about 2/3 years or something wasn't it.

I don't know what your problem is but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce

Yeah man, I'm looking forward to seeing Kuyt in the flesh for the first time.
