All I'm gonna say is that I questioned Rafa's signings of the likes of Pennant, Keane etc. But this is one signing I'm happy with. The price is a little high but **** it. He can cover 2 positions in RW and RB. This guy will be a star for us.

happy enough with this bit of business. Hopefully we can follow up with at least 1 more signing (Silva) or at a push (Villa - come on, a man can dream!)
Love it even more if he snubbed the Chavs for us. All in all good business. Englands number 1 right back, clearly rated by top managers and as has been pointed out, has pace, power and can cross. Good times!

Pennant and Keane were players who I thought if they developed they could become good players for us. Johnson will be a good player straight away for us.
