    Coach Didi?

Didi has been released by City and like Big Sami is hoping to continue his playing days a couple of more seasons. But, he's also started his coaching badges and sees this as the next step for him and if nothing comes up playing wise he wants to jump right into coaching. I think he'd be a great addition to the LFC coaching staff.
"I still think I have got a couple of years left in me," he added.

"On the other hand I started my coaching badges in May, I've done the first course - level two and three - and I want to carry that on regardless if I play or not.

"Obviously if nothing does come up, or if nothing happens that satisfies me in the next few weeks, then I have to change my focus and priorities and I will speak to people and start coaching."

Lucas is IMHO more an attacking mid. then Didi was.

I would rather Danny Murphy or Gary Mac worked with him.

Didi was this ‘box to box’ midfielder everyone talks about when he was at Newcastle.

Surprised he’s contemplating coaching, considering his alleged lifestyle. Though he’d retire and enjoy life.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

considering his alleged lifestyle and his track record, it might not be an either/or choice for him

I think didi will make a great coach. He seemed like a player who was liked by everyone and as a player he and gary mac seemed to be thoose in the team who understood the tactics of the manager the best. Like in Instanbul no matter how good a player you are, the only way to make as much impact as didi did requires that you understand how the whole team works. Also it seems that defensive midfielders have a knack for coaching.
