Thanjk you.

I dont know what game some of you have been watching, but this game (much like the other two) has been poor. I know its pre season but its still poor. I dont think any of the fringe players such as Spearing etc did themselves any favours. I know some of you will hit back saying Spearing and co. did good (simply because they are l'pool players) but lets be honest they have been very poor yet again.
I still dont think Spearing or El Zar are good enough for the 1st team, not now and probably not ever! Hopefully I will be proved wrong.
While I agree in giving players a shot at the first team I think that Benitez should put out some sort of team that he intends to use in the premiership. This idea of players playing all over the place in crazy positions just doesnt make sense. He should be looking at getting his first choice team sorted with the odd fringe player on standby.

He will in training. These games are just about raising some money while ticket sales aren't there. It's Thailand, so it's not exactly a perfect representation of a PL team to try out tactics etc. Same every year, don't worry.

He couldn't throw the Spanish international straight into this type of pretty intense game after only 2 days training!!!
This is all about fitness and sharpness, and we are getting there. Honestly thought that Kelly and Spearing were excellent and to say they were poor just baffles me.
It is all about getting the whole squad ready. Rafa is doing things the right way and I am so optimistic this year, more than I have been since about 1997.

Bear in mind the conditions out there, the fact that these players wont have played together much at all, that they are being chopped and changed throughout the match, that the fitness regime the players are on at the moment wont be ideal for a match, and also the fact that the players body clocks must be all over the place... I think its safe to assume Rafa wont be too worried by the performances thus far.
Anybody who has spent any time in Asia especially South East Asia this time of year will tell you its like playin football in a Sauna whats worse there was a flash rain storm during the match and it literally comes down in sheets of rain ... a good knock about some very good movement from the Crow I thought .. only saw the 2nd half but he looked about a stone lighter
