    PL Top Ten Predictions

im taking a wild guess that 99% of people on here believe liverpool will finish 1st next season.

    give us your top ten.

    1.Liverpool
    2.Chelsea
    3.scum
    4.arsenal
    5.man city
    6.everton
    7.aston villa
    8.spurs
    9.wigan
    10.west ham

if fulham keep the big guy at the back
maybe they stay in the top ten.

    though alot can change
and i would probably change my mind depending on what players come in or go out
    during this transfer window

My prediction would be similar to yours, although I think City will finish higher than Arsenal.

I'm in that 1% if we lose Alonso, I think he's key.

I don't think city will do that well, they're building a good team but with so many changes they need to learn to play together, I'd have 'em in 7th or so.

Other than that hard to argue.

depending on who city buy in defence.

also takes time for teams to gel

and i can see problems at city

some of their players might clash

hope they buy joey barton back too

then it would make it even more interesting in the dressing room.

I think City could finish 4th ahead of Arsenal, I'd say I agree with the top 8 (other than that) but from 8 down it's anyones guess, I think Wigan could struggle this season having sold all their best players.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Honestly cant separate us, United and Chelsea at the minute.

United have lost massively key players and that will make a big difference.

20 years without challenging would make me doubt our chances, but last season showed that we moved up a level. Will we have what it takes to go one better? Possibly.

Chelsea have a new manager and it's impossible to second guess how this will affect them.

Could make a case for and against all three. Impossible to make a definitive prediction at this stage.

I don't think Man Utd will win the league this season - think it will be between us and Chelsea.

I'd go along with that. I would be happier to make a better prediction when all the transfer business is concluded. If the window was closed I would say us at present, but Alonso looks set to leave and I want to see who we replace him with.

Man Utd are certainly worse than last year. I would be suprised if they didn't buy anyone, I'd have them third at the moment.

Chelsea I would have second. They have looked impressive in pre season and it seems the players have adapted well to Ancelottis tactics. Yuri Zhirkov looks to be a good signing and a full season out of Essien will make a big difference for them. I also expect them to make a couple of big signings before the season closes. Pirlo and maybe a striker.

                    As of right now:

                    1. Liverpool
                    2. Chelsea
                    3. Man Utd
                    4. Arsenal
                    5. Man City
                    6. Everton
                    7. Tottenham
                    8. Aston Villa
                    9. Fulham
                    10. Blackburn
                    11. Sunderland
                    12. West Ham
                    13. Bolton
                    14. Stoke
                    15. Wigan
                    16. Birmingham
                    17. Wolves
                    18. Hull
                    19. Burnley
                    20. Portsmouth

If Arsenal don't get a DM and City get Lescott or another top CB, they'll switch around.

not sure if viera will do much for the arsenal if he comes.

                            2 Man U.

                            7 Villa

Thats IF the current squds remain the same. If we sell Alonso we need an instant replacement with the money

As things stand I cannot see us winning it. I say this because im pretty certain Torres will pick up injuries and miss bits of the season and as of yet we have no capable back-up or partner for him
