I'm pretty sure this rumour started before he was even due to come over. Certainly there was talk of the deal breaking down for various reasons which turned out to be bollocks. As usual we will just have to wait and see.

If there is a doubt about anything in football, there will be a rumour of it.

I knew as soon as I saw his stats that there would be a rumour of him failing his medical, whether it was true or not. I'm sure there will be many a Manc lined up to wind up a scouser or two about a failed medical. Because when a rumour is even slightly believeable, it will spread like wildfire.
