A lot of specualtion here over a typical Rafa comment and the fact that he won't spend £12 million on a 4th choice back up for defence...the first part, the comment, can be taken as a dig at the owners or as an "i ain't telling you how much...we maybe have money, we maybe don't"...having not seen the interview, i don't know which way to take it, depends if he was grinning or not!

The second part, the not spending £12 million on a bit part player, well that's kinda obvious...he wants a backup who will play something like 15 games a season, and yo don't spend £12 million on a player like that surely?

I hope you are right but i think not. These "owners" are rapeing the club, I could have bought the club they way they have done it, Pretend Il build a stadium, get a loan to buy the club, The fans pay the Interest payments while I Pocket all the profits. What a shower of cunts these "owners" are. Only for rafa, God only knows where we would be right now, I dread the day he walks, because if these people are still in charge the club will fall apart.

The situation is really frustrating me, the only thing that has stopped me going on huge rant is the fact that the window is still open, but if it closes and we haven't made another big signing I'll be really hacked off! Trouble is it'll be too late then, we're stuck with what we've got until January. I know you can't win the league in the first half of the season but you can lose it and that's what worries me at the moment.
