Not if he judges his forward runs properly.

There will still be occasions when he gets caught forward, and that's where a player like Mascher comes in, cos he will provide the extra man at the back...also, will we see both fullbacks bombing on at the same time, or will it be if we attack down one side, the other side stays back??

I agree that there'll be times when someone will have to cover for Johnson, but your initial post implied to me that it'd be happening regularly in every game and i dont think that's necessarily true.

Not my initial post, i was merely getting involved...the times when Johnson gets caught out will be the time when Mascher or Kuyt will be the ones covering, i would hope, and even the defence shifting over.

If spurs set themselves up to frustrate us and hit us on the counter ala Atletico (barring their quality obviously) then having Benayoun is going to have me throwing the remote at the TV. I'd rather have Riera to get round the back if he's fit. God I hope he is.

Benayoun to come on for Kuyt or Gerrard later in the game.
            One tit for another.

Definately We have Babel, Voronin and Benni to bring on if needed. Wonder if Dossena is certain to stay?

Do you think Dossena, Degen and N’Gog will complete the bench, or one of the youngsters get a chance? Maybe Kelly for Dossena seeing as he can put Johnson on the left if need be.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Skrtel apparently played for an hour today against Oldham reserves, in a match arranged for the players not travelling with their national teams. We won 2-0, Ayala and Lucas the scorers. Skrtel didn't feel any pain in his hamstring

                      Great news

Pain is not a word in Skrtel's vocab

                            Here is the team:

Team: Cavalieri (Martin); Spearing, Ayala, Skrtel, Insua; San Jose, Plessis; Pepper, Lucas, Dossena; Voronin.

Pepper back from injury according to liverpool.no

These were the only players available, seeing as the internationals are away and the U-18s also.

Think I might have to tweak my Fantasy Football team if he keeps this up.
