So Van Halen would like to run another competition. This one is a bit trickier:

The comp is for members to predict the scores for first round of prem matches this week end. Same rules as before, one entry per member, I need the score prediction for each game and then the scorers. No entries allowed before after 12 noon on Saturday. The prize is a signed pennant by the whole squad. Signed at melwood last month.

How does the points scoring system work?

That is a bit confusing I admit. I've asked but if he doesn't tell I'm going to make one up. My current favorite is 1 point for every prediction -i.e. one for a correct score (for each side) and then one for each scorer.

I would have delayed but a/ he doesn't have much access to the 'net on holiday and b/ it's a bit short notice.

If it's anything like last time I'll just pick someone at random and award the prize to them any way.
