    Albert Riera

Does anyone know if he's overcome his injury; the injury he had in the game against Lynn Oslo? Not heard anything about that.

As far as I know, our only injury concerns for this afternoon's match are Agger, El Zhar, Gerrard, Aurelio, Carragher and maybe Skrtel.

Hope he plays because our attack seems a little threadbare for today's game, especially if Stevie isn't playing.

Yes, he played (and scored) for Spain midweek.

I do, but I also have high hopes for Yossi and Ryan, who seem to be in contention for the LW also. That is going to be a tough battle. Maybe Ryan could compete for striker and RW to even it up a bit.

Not even on the bench today, somethings amiss

No Degen or NGog either which I thought was a bit strange.

Heard nothing about any of them being injured - weird that Riera, Degen & NGog didn't travel yet Kelly, Ayala, Spearing and even Dosenna did.

I'm not suprised there was no Degen, we had the 2 centre backs to cover in case there were problems with Carragher and Skrtel. I don't know what happened with Riera or Ngog, I guess Ngog is now 3rd choice behind Voronin?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can see what you mean about Degen but I would've thought Rafa would choose Degen over one of Kelly or Ayala and play Johnson at centre half if needs be.

Yeah I'm guessing you might be right there about NGog behind Voronin now in the pecking order. Sad state of affairs.

Could he be on his way home or was he affected badly by his mate's death last week?

He might have gone back to Barcelona for the service which was on Friday I think.
