What can you do.

Carragher had a shocking game.

Skrtel got killed by Carra and played through the pain barrier until he couldn't walk.

Gerrard had a shocking game.

Torres had a shocking game.

Babel had a.... well, can you call it a game?

Reina, Lucas, Glen ****ing Johnson, Insua and Yossi ****ing Benayoun, well ****ing done.

That was poor. Carra and Skrtle never recovered from that clash of heads, we were a mess back there.

Benayoun and Agger are going to be really key players for us, and distribution a massive issue unless Aquilani really takes to the league.

Only consolation I suppose is we're no worse off in like for like from last season.

We should have drawn that game. We lost because of poor defending and that cunt of a referee. And our set pieces are woeful to say the least.

If we'd have won would you be saying the same? He's never been the most creative footballer but he puts his body on the line to stop players and our defence is never the same without him in it.

Fair result even if it was a bad decision on the penalty. **** match, **** performance, time to sleep.

gerrard is better playing deeper. torres looks well off the pace. johnson is quality. we need a deep lying forward to play off of torres with gerrard behind. frustrating. but not unpredictable. we've all seen plenty of these type performances down the years. sometimes lady luck gets you out of jail. not today. makes it harder now.
