It's been said all summer but these days you can't turn form on and off like a tap.

League titles are won by teams who snatch victories despite poor form. I do believe we can win the next 6 games and go top ofcourse but blips like today will continue to happen till we have more match winners. We will hammer teams when on form but stutter and fail to get results when we have bad games

no. i'd love 5 or 6 signings. but as the other teams around us have found, its hard to bring in good players.

I've have taken Owen & Crouch. I also think we should have got Sneider as part of the alonso deal. But rafa is never going to break the team up to accomodate them.

Lets be honest, its about time we started seeing the benefits of buying half of the schoolkids in europe. why aren't they stepping up to the plate?

Because physichally they are not ready. That policy takes time to work.

Some of that is true enough. But to expect to scrape a result when you have been completely out played is asking for a lot, whether we had an extra class player or not. But then even today we should have had the penalty and levelled up. And there was a ball that went across goal that King missed and Torres didn't react too.

But of course, with better players it's obvious we would get better results.
