Let's put things into perepective: we are not as bad as we were in the first half. Almsot everyone was ****e. With that formation (riera and aurielo ins. of insua and babel) we trashed Utd at Old Trafford! But lfc don't have strength in depth so pray that the yanks give rafa another 20 million to spend and bring a decent striker or at least someone who is already better that Carra( Turner).

We were poor in most areas yesterday, Spurs were more up for it, better in the tackle, quicker in distributing the ball and they deserved the 3 points. We looked jaded and not near full fitness, Stoke on wed night is going to be just as tough a game

Wonderful. Nice to see the alonso money go to RBS as well. If glen johnson is worth £17m i am worth £10m. I said i was worried after the england game because Babel kept skimming him.

Pretty sure Johnson was one of our best players.

One positive point from yesterdays game was that Rafa was right, Keane is ****e.

I thought the whole team (Reina excepted) played poorly against a team who worked harder than them.

Keane is ****e, they worked harder than us, but saying EVERYONE else was poor is a little unfair on Johnson, who I thought played really well and adds an extra attacking dimension for us. On the other side, Insua looked assured and made a few nice forays up to the opposite byline too. Happy with him

Agree there mate he is very good going forward but is a but suspect in defence but i am sure rafa will help him with that.

I guess people have forgotten that Carra was carrying an injury all game, not to mention the head clash with Skrtel.

With how far forward he played most of the game I'm sure it was with Rafa's blessing or he'd have been off, Rafa doesn't take kindly to people ignoring his instructions.

With that in mind defensive ability I'm guessing was only a tiny consideration in the purchase, and he's not going to enforce defensive discipline on him.

I agree. I think Rafa calculated that he could lose a bit of defensive solidity if he gained some attacking width.
