    Carragher

Quite simply, are you concerned with his form? Ok it was only one game but i noticed a few people were questioning towards the end of last season and certainly after spurs on sunday.
    I hope it's just a little blip.

Not yet, but I do realise that he won't get any better.

Can't tell after one game of the season. I generally think he's over-rated by Liverpool fans but he's still a very good CB.

Thing about Carra is that he needs to be one of our top performers or he will look like a rude, moaning ******* with all his shouting and balling. Was a glimpse of this with his reaction to Arbeloa at the end of last season.

I think calling one game his form is a bit unreasonable really. I do think that he, Skrtel and Mascherano had a collective 'mare against Spurs and should be bloody grateful to Reina for being excellent behind them.

As one of the key leaders in our team/squad it is obviously massively important that Carragher starts to play and organise the defense well from here on in. One of my major worries for a while has been the lack of leaders in our squad any way and losing Alonso hasn't helped. Hopefully some of the other players in the squad will grow as they are forced to take more responsibility.

It is a blip, but then at the same time I am sure Rafa is looking to ease the workload on him and sees Agger/Skrtel as the long term CB pairing.

Its seems he's the new target amongst some.

I think his form has dipped slightly below his own high standards at times, yet he's still there putting in blocks and making last ditch tackles and is far and away our best defender.

The booking he got the other day was a good piece of defending. He couldn't take the chance of letting Defoe get away.

Don't forget he came into the game a fitness doubt, I thought he had a decent game.

personally, i thought carra was beyond poor against spurs. but so was everyone else. he is into his 30's and will start to slow a bit in reaction, distribution etc.... but as of now he is our best defender and is still one of the best around at what he does.

His achilles heel. Massively disappointing part of his game. But he does know how to defend.

He was over-used last season and put under too much pressure i felt. He never got a rest at any point. He does look like a bit of a mad man at times now but I wouldnt be too harsh after just 1 game. He did make some good challenges against spurs and some very good interceptions

I don't think he is. He's still our best defender IMO.
