Team and Score predictions for OT..

For me, the match next week is a 50/50, a coinflip. A really tough one to call. I have a sneaky feeling though, that we might come away with all 3 points.

    UTD 1 -2 Liverpool

As for the team, well that's anyones guess but i go with.....

    -----------------Reina------------------

    Finnan------Agger------Carra--------Riise

    Gerrard-----Momo-----Alonso--------Luis

    -----------Crouch----Bellamy-----------

We can't defend for **** at the moment, we will be lucky to get a draw in my opinion.

The team for OT is absolutely anyones guess.

I hate being a prophet of doom, but i dont fancy us to come away with anything, a draw would be a raving result for us at the moment IMO.

Sorry to say it but i think 2-0.

For me its all set up nicely for Shrek to start scoring again.
The mancs will be desperate to shove our fading title hopes down our throats. They have to much pace up front for our back to four to cope with.
          2-0 loss i say.

I'd start Agger at OT and I'd also start Speedy. However, Rafa seems strangely reluctant to play Gonzalez, and after spending the best part of a year fighting to get him a work permit, it seems very strange. Maybe the rumours of him being out on the lash a lot are true, I dunno, but it doesn't add up IMO.

We're crying out for a direct attacking threat. His use of the ball, so far, has been intelligent, he tracks back, his delivery has been superb both from corners and open play and most importantly he is a goal threat and seems to "have the knack".

So why the **** isn't he getting a game? Aurelio is not a left winger (he also doesn't look a left back to me...so what is he?), Kewell is a write-off, Garcia can't be trusted too often, and if we ever play Gerrard on the left again I think I'll scream.

              START PICKING GONZALEZ, RAFA.

Fair enough, but we wont be seeing Agger for a while.

Team? Could be anything, one thing's for sure it won't be the same as yesterday.

                  Score 4-1 to Man Utd.

They're on form at the moment and this match comes after a European game. We're usually half asleep in these games. We've picked up some injuries and our better players are not at the races. Looking at it objectively I think 4-1 is about right. Obviously I hope we stuff 'em.

                        Early Sunday kickoff too

I don't know. Either we'll do as we usually do away from home, sit back and let them dictate, or we'll put in a performance which kick-starts our league campaign, especially in away matches.

I just wonder about Gerrard, I reckon a game like this could be the stage to lift him, and he puts in a performance.

I do think we match up well against them, especially in midfield. I just hope Rafa doesn't go defensive and negative. Look what Arsenal did last month for example.
