aye thread about this currently in general football!!
at this moment i am not too worried - don't forget that bets were suspended for us signing ribery by paddy power - and it was on literaly a day or two ago that they were on talk sport saying 16/1 on rafa leaving was a good bet and worth a punt - i reckon loads of people thought hmm i'll throw a tenner on - which is what the bookie wants, after a whil they look at the risk and how much has been staked and close the book.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

It's highly unlikely but just imagine if Rafa wasn't at the game tonight, what a story that would be."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Betting was suspended just before he signed his contract. Apparently there has been a rumour going around via text and Paddy Power received 8 grand in bets on it today. Therefore, there is nothing solid to this whatsoever.
The rumour is that Rafa stormed out today leaving Sammy Lee in charge for tonight. Surely a load of crap though. Sounds like a load of people reacting to a text rumour and having a punt on it. Paddy Power then uses it to gain publicity by suspending betting.
Hopefully its all a load of sh1te

Paddy from PaddyPower has just been on too and said that 'he's 100% gone'. They've suspended betting on him being the next manager to leave his post.
John Aldridge said that he's 'shocked' about what he heard earlier today but won't reveal the specifics as he doesn't want to disrespect the clubLast edited by Fierce; 19-08-09, 05:41 PM.I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

How reliable are they as a source? Asking because I have no clue as I never listen to the thing...Originally posted by Fierce View PostMicky Quinn has just said on TalkSport that he stormed out of Anfield this morning and Sammy Lee will be manager for tonight.
