I think that Ayala's going alright, he looks quite solid in the air. Going from what you guys said about preseason (I don't watch preseason games because tehy're a waste of time from a viewing POV) I was expecting a really indecisive completely wank player. Given he's hardly up against world class attackers, he looks decent enough.

Pretty pleased with that Johnson goal, he took it quite well. Looks a very good signing. If he can maintain what he's shown so far the money we paid will look pretty reasonable.

Stoke has pushed forward when they can, and we have given them FK's in some dangerous positions when we could have avoided it really.

They are quite limited going forward though today and we have dealt with it well so far. We have had some good counter attacking football and looked dangerous when going forward. In fact many of our attacks I have thought were positive and looked like making something happen.

From what i`ve seen on my dodgy stream Ayala has done well. He`s still only 18, so lots of potential.

Not really , we have given a load of stupid free kicks which they are dangerous from , and some delap throws, thats about it, they havnt really been physical

The difference from what little I can gleen from the choppy internet broadcast I am wathing seems to be out fullbacks ... we are overloading there half with attacking players .. and they cannot handle it

I've not seen any of tonights game. He was fine for the last knockings against Spurs, but very poor in pre season - like the majority of the team TBF.

I only saw problems for him after seeing him struggle so much against Arsenals kids. Him and Joe Kennedy were terrorised by the Gunners. On that showing he was terrible. Injuries to CB meant he got a late call up for the pre season tours and it seems he has impressed in training. Fair play to the lad.
