    That's fair enough.

I'm sure everyone will give him a chance. It's certainley a debatable signing, but I doubt many on here have seen him play, whilst are scouts will have done.

People mention Pellegrino, but he was here purely to help coach zonal really. The fact he's sat on our bench now proves the point.
    Forwards.......

I've never seen Kyrgiakos play and can barely pronounce his name so I'm going to give him every chance to succeed before I write him off. For the price he seems a decent signing - an experienced international defender who can provide solid cover and looks like a bad of a nutter. Let's just hope he doesn't develop into a defensive Voronin.

He originally came to Rangers for 6 months, refused a contract in May, but returned in August when he couldn't find another club. Rangers released him the following summer.

        Sounds like a great buy!

It seems fairly simple to me:

We need a 4th choice centre back, who is going to be happy sitting on the bench for the vast majority of the time, but will give us a better emergency option than two promising but as yet untried youngsters, and is certainly better than having no other option at all. He also needs to cost less than £2m.

On that basis, I'd say job done.

Job done if he proves to be a capable player, otherwise not. I have faith in Rafas scouting network, just slightly unsure as it seems this lad was the only option due to lack of funding. With that sort of player it can sometimes go wrong.

The lad is 30 and has signed a 2 year contract without even thinking about it. It's not a great contract at his age. He clearly wants the opportunity and I'm sure he realises he's 4th in line. He might not be the great defender we were hoping for, but like I say, he is essentially there as cover and to give the young lads some competition. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he does well and gets his contract renewed. If he doesn't good luck to him. I think Rafa knows what he's getting, and I don't think he's the first choice.

But bottom line is that he's a Liverpool player now, so let's get behind him and give him a chance.
                Really?

                      Good Luck to the Lad.

I Know some people already hate him, because of the Rangers connection. And may here and generally follow Liverpool and Celtic. But give the lad a break. He's a red now.

Look on the brightside 2 year contract. Just in time to left Sami back in

The hair seriously needs to go.

                              Have a word Lucas.
