I just say one thing, where is the new stadium they promised?
    I don't see anything.

All I hear are lies, and now the clubs transfer money is used to pay the interest and debt from the owners buy out.
Nice eh...Alonso's transfer probably financed that.

They appoint people who are able I reckon. Like today's owners do?

      Listen, I want them gone.
I see no stadium, I hear lies and lies.
I hear about transfer money being gone.
      Not a happy bunny.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:

So what you want is action without having a clue as to what a viable alternative might be.

            What's the point in that?

If you had a better idea, I might listen to you, but you don't, so it's a bit of a pointless debate really.
            Oh I don't know.

My god, the stadium...you do realise if we'd built it, as it was when they first came in, then we'd be stuck with a Parry bowl with no room for expansion beyonf...what was it, 55000??

They came in and did a complete overhaul of the designs, which then needed new planning permission.

And then, just as all that was done, the global economy went tits up, the price of steel skyrocketed and if we had pressed ahead with our plans, we'd have been seriously up **** creek financially, and so the "yanks" took the option of delaying the project. It just wasn't feasible to build at that time.

But the stadium is key to their plans, so i fully expect them to get it built, or underway, before they sell up and move on...in fact, the last time it was mentioned (i think it was Gillett during the summer break?) he was quoted as saying it is still scheduled for a 2012 opening...

A real shame as the Yanks can't either, they borrowed the money. But the time for those dreams where when Moores was in charge, not now.

But for those who dream but question how it would work, it's the same model Barcelona use.

It really is hard to know what is actually happening with all the politics. There are positives: the stadium design, our most important players signing long-term contracts, Kenny returning, the overhaul of the Academy which has failed, our improved business acumen.

Yet, there remains an extremely sour taste in the mouth, owing to burdening the club with debt and the associated lies, failure to begin work on the stadium, Klinnsmanngate, this summer's apparent failure to reinvest in the team and rumours that they have taken the budget to pay off the debts to the bank.

All in all, I know nothing, I wanted Moores to sell and look what happened. I would prefer, if the club could return to wealthy benefactor with a love for the club, but I fear it would only be more vultures circling.

All this is true. Had the global economy stayed on an even keel I doubt we would be having all this protest stuff. I believe their intentions were decent enough in that regard - though motivated by pure profit, not glory as Hicks claimed.

But the financial world has gone belly up. And instead of selling at a large profit when they had the chance they have kept the club and layered a huge amount of debt on the club. They see a vision of an even bigger profit in the future and so have gambled on the clubs success short term and possible even the future long term. And those who think it could never happen to a big club should speak to fans of Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday.

We need the stadium really, pure and simple. The sooner we get that the sooner the debts start getting repaid.

The point being to apply pressure towards the owners, because I think they are poor owners, to force them to either improve their running of the club/or sell the club to more suitable owners.

Considering what I think are a line of lies and breaches of trust from the owners, do I really have to come up with a complete and detailed solution before I suggest this?

You might think they are suitable owners, fine with me.
I am not asking to you listen to me. You can do what you like.

Sorry, but I do not share the optimism that the stadium will be built under the current owners.

Yes, they did some good things. The revamping of the stadium design was needed. Hats off.

Financially, I can of course understand why they postponed the stadium when the global economy took a hit. But to me, their lack of finance to get it built suggests that they were the wrong owners.

A stadium will not be built out of anyone's pockets, it will be funded by loans and sponsership and will pay for itself...financing for a stadium will not be a problem, and when the economic situation settles, i think we'll see the stadium plans come to life.
