Torres, Benayoun, Gerrard, Johnson, Reina and Kuyt have all been better.

I think its ridiculous to suggest he has been our best midfielder and he plainly hasnt been the worse.

Personally he has done Ok, he has done better than i thought but then i am not his biggest fan, not really sure he has done anyhting this season for anyone to be gushing the praise i have read in this thread though.

I would be interested to see how many of those who are really happy with him would drop him for Aquiliani. Personally i cant wait for tha fella to come in

Those who DONT think he's great, are generally saying he's done ok or fairly well this season, without being spectacular.

It's those who are claiming him to have been our best player/midfielder, who are wildly overreacting with their claims.
