i cant believe that so many liverpool fans are craving a new stadium, **** the extra revenue, **** the extra 10 thousand seats, this is anfield i am old enough to remember pissing in the plastic cup old enough to remember being pushed up against the metal barriers only for a great big docker lifting me up to the heavens and landing me safely away from it, i have been through them turnstiles with some of the best people i have known in my life some now sadly not here, ok i now live on the south coast and struggle to get tickets for me and my family only managing to get to 4 or 5 games a season, but i will gladly live with that to keep this sacred place, you see buildings up and down the country that are protected and will never be knocked down and none of them hold the the history of this great place, call me selfish and nostalgic but i for one would rather wait to win the title than win it because of revenue from a new ground.

What new stadium?

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

How do you mean, in terms of support?Originally posted by Roberto Bobbolino View PostAnfield is a joke these days, as seen tonight.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Yep. Full of tourists and daytrippers more interested in sampling the famous non existant atmosphere than getting involved. It was a joke tonight, though the body language of the players was poor from the start.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostHow do you mean, in terms of support?

As much as I love Anfield (and I really do) we have to move on if we are to progress, the extra revenue that the scum generate is why they are able to buy players and win trophies, the longer we stay behind them off the pitch the longer we'll be behind them on the pitchThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
