Is something big about to happen at LFC? Watching the players last night just made me think is a change in managment about to happen? Rafa dosn't seem up to motivating the players and none of the senior players like Gerrard and Torres seem to bothered how they play. Do they know something we don't?

I don't think so no. I wonder if the team worked hard enough in pre season. Apart from Stoke the teams we've played have looked fitter than us, IMO. I think the players knew that they hadn't performed well enough again last night and just look disappointed.“Me having no education. I had to use my brains.”

I think we look leggy to be honest but its like all things you needs luck; if Yossi had scored in the first minute we'd have beaten them by 3/4; I have a feeling that this season will be a big topsy turvy for all the teams; bar Chelsea - they are settled, especially at the back; have experience; competition for places is good and they all want to impress the new manager.

He not that long since signed a new contract and only came out last week and said new players or not he wasn't going anywhere. What more does he need to do?Originally posted by stuy95 View PostIs something big about to happen at LFC? Watching the players last night just made me think is a change in managment about to happen?

I had a feeling last night watching the game that he'd be down the tunnel and out the door and off to John Lennon airport.
I don't know what is going on, but he has history of doing the off and I'd imagine its a very much day to day situation. The beauty of the transfer window is that when it closes there is no question of players moving. With Rafa this is going to rumble until the results turn positive and the press aren't going to help make things stable.*************************

Christ, bad day at the office for the reds. It happens, and has happened twice this season. Doesn't mean anything more sinister is happening behind the scenes causing chaos and disruption, just means we lost a game we could have won if things had gone the other way.
An own goal, a stupid corner and a pen, and we hit the post and Friedel made some good stops. On another night we win. That's all, nothing going on that caused it.
Some people always look for reasons, there must be something going down for this to have happened.
My view is, we ballsed up and lost a game we ought to have won.
Or should we blame Parry?

Even if (and it's a big IF) Rafa were considering leaving, where would he go? There are no big clubs in need of a manager right now and he doesn't strike me as the type of person who would settle for a long holiday.
I reckon he'll only go when Real, Barca or one of the top Italian teams need a new man.
Anyway, 6 months ago he, and the team, were the best in the land, if not Europe. One player's departure should not and does not change that.
Walk on...

i think it does to be honest and Xabi leaving us is way more damaging that the show pony leaving man u. we have gone backwards in 6 months and desperately need to get someone with vision in or we will really struggle to break teams down again all season.LFC - the footballing Phoenix. Watch us rise.
