Fair point, but considering it has been given to a new signing since Smicer that have for the most part, failed to impress, I'd say take another route. Kuyt is Liverpool to the core and is one of the first names on the team sheet. I think its his preferred number as it was his at Feyenoord and with Holland on occasion.
