He'll have a lot on playing with Lucas. With Mascherano he would have been able to get forward and express himself a lot more freely. Big pressure on the shoulders of Lucas.
    Forwards.......

Babel has a problem with his tongue. Needs sorting before he spouts **** in the press. Physios are working on it around the clock.

Iirc when Lucas was called upon to do this role last season his performances were generally pretty good. I think this could work, Burnley are likely to overload the defence so hopefully Gerrard should be pretty involved with the ball, and Benny further forward can try dancing his way through the inevitable bodies.

Doesn't deserve to be for his comments. Needs to knuckle down. I seen his replacement in the Dutch squad has had a massive impact.

Yeah I agree of course. Who replaced him? Zenden could make more of an impact than Babel tbh

                Too true.

Argh it feels like an eternity since we last played. Like the look of that line up, and if Benayoun plays behind Torres then I can see us sticking four past Burnley

Better than it was against Spurs on the opening day.

Chin up, we still have Agger, Aurelio & Aquilani to return.

It will be Kuyt up front and Benayoun on the right.

Rafa never starts Yossi in the hole.

You'll get assassinated with these kind of comments.

I actually think against a team like Burnley a better passer like Lucas in the defensive position could free Stevie up more. Obviously this assumes that we go out and pressurise them from the off. The way Gerrard and Lucas link will be pretty key though I agree.

Neither Yossi nor Mr. Kuytie are pretty enough to be feeding off Nando's 'hole'.
