Its not great, but considering Mascherano, Aquilani, Agger and Aurelio are out (4 players all of whom might start when fit), and Babel isn't on it either, it's not too bad, and with them all back it would be much stronger.Originally posted by Bender View Postwhat a poor poor subs bench
Cavalieri - fine
Degen, Dossena, Kyrgiakos - well, at least all defensive positions are covered
Spearing - fine
Ngog, Voronin - at least its options upfront. I quite like Ngog
Only thing we're really lacking is options for wide / attacking midfield positions, but with Benny, Gerrard and Riera all starting I guess things could be shifted around if necessary. Wouldn't be surprised to see Spearing get 20 mins or so today.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Barring Cavalieri (who seems decent enough), and Spearing, everyone on that bench is also an international footballer too
