    Stevie and Carra getting old.

I got depressed today. It dawned on me that Stevie and Jamie are getting on a bit and they still haven't got a premiership medal.
Apart from that, what the **** are we going to do when they retire? The way things are now we can't come close to replacing them. If Rafa goes we're totally screwed. Moores must have been out of his head when he sold us to those f**ckers.

    Where's that rope?!

We can replace Carra, though maybe not his heart.
For Gerrard, it'll take a special player to fill his boots. That said, we've lost big players before and progressed.

Still, I'd hate it if neither picked up a premiership medal.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

First thing first, By **** fella you must be feeling quite low to start a thread like this ,chin up mucker.
But now you have started it you have a good point , Carra will be easier to fill than Stevie but as stated above we have lost big players before , Who thought we would have replaced King Kenny ( come to think of it we haven't)
But as the saying goes " No one person is bigger than the club" we will always be here , Hopefully there is a 14/15 year old kid in the ranks ready to step up to the plate , the thing is though he proberbly aint a Liverpool player yet until we poach him

Wish I could be as positive as you mate!
The point I'm trying to make is that we just don't have the money to bring in quality players.

As I said, we are ****ed

I think this time next year Carra will move into the role Sami played last year, but still get a load of games the way sami did last year too

Paul Scholes has won 3 premier league titles since he turned 30. Giggs 4 depending on if you want to fudge it.

Stevie's playing in an age where players routinely play until they're 35+, in an age where squad rotation will ensure there is always someone alongside him who has the legs and he gets smarter and smarter by the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing in a CL final in 6 years time.

They've still got a few years in them yet, and fingers crossed they'll pick up their first winners medal this year and can go on to pick up a few more in the coming years.

Carra has been a great player for us but I he'll move on into the Sami role in the next year or so, we have Skrtel and Agger who are two quality players and will be a good partnership for us hopefully for years to come (if they can both stay fit). Though they do lack Carra's organisational (shouting) skills, hopefully that will come with experience.

Gerrard has a good few years left in him yet, I don't think we need to worry about replacing him just yet
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                      1. Rafa hasn't gone
                      2. I know Moores was a bit of a tool but is it really his fault that our best players get a year older with every 365 days that pass?

Stevie is definitely getting old...i noticed for the England game that his conk has become almost Phil Thompsonesque in appearance, and isn't it your nose and ears that keep growing throughout life?

Sad thing is, I think about this all the time - more so Gerrard and not Carragher though.

                            I believe so.

                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
