Has anyone seen that document posted on RAWK? It shows that ticket prices are going up 8% next season coupled with VAT going back to the norm that is going to cripple most fans. This is all happening to service the debt on our club which these guys said wouldn't happen. We the fans are paying for this but some of you are happy about that and I find it amazing.

But we are not struggling to repay it, we are blessed with players such as Torres and Mascher, the squad on the whole has improved (just look at the CL winning side) drastically, to the point where we are now looking at buying big, rather than buying plenty. The club is better run on the marketing side than it ever has been, so the fact that we have more debt is offset by the fact that we have more revenue to service it, and hopefully with some more income from improved sponsership (Thomas Cook, Carlsberg, Standard Chartered etc) we'll see things improve next summer with on the pitch spendings.

For me it's a life experience thing, when you get dumped in someone elses **** often enough and are told fix it, you quickly learn moaning about someone elses mistakes doesn't help in keeping your head above water.

BTW I'd never suggest doing that, I'd try and work out what their inherent spin is and then try and correct for it. To dismiss it outright is as likely to be wrong as swallowing it whole.

Yes, people marched, but did they really need to, or was it all just hype and worry based on Rafa having a spat with the owners...Hicks came out and admitted talking to the german, but Klinsman said he was never offered a job at any point, so did we put 2 and 2 together, based on reports and internet speculation, and decide that protests were needed?

And i'm still not taking that presentation as gospel...why freeze ticket prices this year, only to boost them 8% the next...why not do 4% and then 4%??

Are you a season ticket holder or a regular match goer? I presume you are happy with the 8% increase in ticket prices next season?

Is every penny of the increased ticket prices going towards servicing the debt or will Rafa see some of it??
We can't complain that we are commercially miles behind everyone and not generating enough off field revenue but also moan when ticket prices go up, the 2 go hand in hand.
It's the 'not in my back garden approach' where fans want more money coming in, better players, more success but want someone else to pay for it.

You're entitled to your own opinion but I doubt we will agree on anything regarding these pair. Fair play if you trust them and think that everything is super but I don't. I believe they would have sacked Rafa, I also think they have lied and dragged our name through the mud.

Have you seen how much interest we pay to the banks to service our debt? Also in the dossier which was on the RAWK on Monday it stated that money for transfers would stay the same or even decrease slightly so I would presume that even with a ticket price increase our budget would pretty much be the same.

So 80mil new shirt deal plus a ticket price increase means more money on players? No it means more dividends and more money to service our debt they said we wouldn't have.
