True and in one of them he took the shot which led to the goal.

I'm not really criticizing him, just miss those games when he had so much of the ball and ripped defenders to shreds every time he had it.

I think we need to step up. I don't think we have struggled too much in the match, but lack urgency when in possession.

Debrecini look solid over the pitch, but look poor when in possession themselves, which in part I think is down to nerves.

But I think if we up the tempo we should cruise through and begin to rack up the goals.

i'd like to lock stevie in a cellar and starve and beat him with a stick for a week or so until he gets it through his head, he needs to start playing simple football. enough with the "clever" back-heel to the nearest opposin player, enough with the places shots from 30 meters out, enough with the long range xabiesque passes that fly 2 meters above the player he aimed for - your're a ****ing fantastic player, start playing like one!!!!!

I think he's been one of our better players, though of course he can play much better. Close on a couple of occasions, side foot wide and header over the bar. Helping move the ball forward, but I think our back line needs to push up a lot quicker than they have been doing.

We're the big team and if we don't play as we should be we will be rightly ripped into. I agree though, it pisses me off.

As usual the away fans are the loudest at Anfield, yet Clive Tylsdley only mentioned this when Debrecen were getting forward.
