We were ashamedly and woefully outsung by Debrecen fans last night. And we're supposed to be 'legendary' in home CL games. Its getting embarrasing with all top premiership clubs. Too many rich part time fans who take up season tickets and turn up with their camera phones. :-(

Blimey, I hit a nerve. From my visits to Anfield this isn't the first time this has happened and its not just wiith our club. I guess its a curse with all big clubs now.

I live in London and can only make handful of games when tickets become available on general sale or when a kind soul lends me theirs. The few midweek occasions I have been there we have always been outsung by whichever away supporters there are. I am literally standing singing "Rafa Benitez" on my own, yes literally, while those around me can't be bothered. I don't get to go often so when I do I make sure I'm hoarse before I go home.

The company I work for has a subsidiary in Chester. I am tempted to move up there and willingly take a season ticket off the hands of those that live in Liverpool but left those seats empty - or worse still turn up in their thousands to sing like there were only 100 at the ground. :-(

a lot of blame has to lie with the club too - My dad/mum/uncle have season tickets in the lower centenary at the Kop end (actually right in the middle of the C in LFC ) anyway - they ticked all the boxes for CL and cup games and did everything they should and fully expected, having had season tickets for 30 years, and these seats for about 20, that they would be there.

Tickets come through and they had been tucked away in the bottom corner of the lower annie road - they were ****ing fuming, they get there and they said practically everyone that sits around them were all there, but split up randomly. - Apparently it turned out that the club had given all their seats to UEFA and corporate fans and relocated a huge number of fans to these **** seats. - Everyone has been trying to contact the club over this for about two weeks - nothing. - They were also told by one of the stewards that the empty seats in the centenary near the annie road end, were mostly taken up by corporate and that for the whole game one of the bar/lounges was packed with about 100 or so 'fans' not bothered about the game.

No suprise really - The club don't give a **** about the 'loyal' season ticket holders, they treat season ticket holders worse than any other type of fan, fleece them for everything, offer nothing back to them and if the season ticket holders aren't happy it's tough **** cause the way the club see it is they have 30'000 others waiting in line to be treated the same.

how did that happen as if you tick the box on your season ticket form you use the fan card for champions league games so sit in the same seat as usual same as last season
