Dreadful tonight - although he has been out for a while. Still, given some member of the staff said he was the best passer of a ball at the club I didn't see anything to suggest that tonight

That was Rafa but then again he also rates Lucas...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

He put plenty of dangerous balls into the area to cause Fiori havoc. Once he went to left back that all ended and we were back to predictable. I thought Benayoun and Kuyt were far worse than Aurelio. Just shows, today was a slow day for us.
          One tit for another.

He'll never be as effective as Alonso in CM.

But haven't people been saying since the Portsmouth game to give him another bash in CM? He's been out for weeks and put in one **** performance tonight - along with many of our players.

Who said fans were fickle eh?

Only read a few threads quickly. My bed beckons me thankfully. I’m sure there will be a few rational posts tomorrow.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Lol, was just thinking that, he was ****e, that performance was a la carte ****e on a stick. If he was in Rafa's ideal 5-a side team, the game would by-pass him entirely. We should have just played with 10 men tonight.

Not for the bigger games. He was a fish out of water tonight.

Fish out of water, are at least doing something with purpose.

                        Give fish some credit.

Fish out of water... as in.... not in his correct environment. Not his fault. He's just not a world class centre mid.

He was pants. seen it coming though, as soon as i seen lucas and aurellio playing center midfield, i could sense a defeat.

Aurellio could he play in midfield and replace some of the passing ability of alonso?

only short term until aquillani is fit.

                                its just an idea
I've thought short and hard about this matter and the only answer to this question is deffo
