i can afford to lose it this week, and this week only really. i aint gambled in ages. used to do these type of mad bets all the time untill one day i bet 2000 euro on a mad acca and lost.

I aint ever bet that big. Worst I did was in the 2002 world cup. Had Portugal to beat USA and I think it was Tunisia to beat Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia were useless and duly obliged and got hammered 3-0. Portugal lost 3-2.

I bet £80 which was a lot at that time to me and I pretty much quit big bets on the spot. Most I've done since is a tenner, and that's very rare. Usually just stick to the odd fiver here and there now on an accumalator, which I have decent success with.

I hope you win mate as that's a big return.

when chelsea where taken over and bought all the players i used to put 2000 on them against weaker teams to win. i used to win about 700-900 euro plus my 2k back. then one day i got greedy after winning a fortune and placed 2000 on a treble of ireland ,wales and england to win. ireland won and wales and england drew. lost the 2k and quit betting really except for the odd goalscorer here and there.

I can see the temptation. I started an account on betfair where I put £100 in and slowly built up the funds until I had £200 in. I then put my original £100 stake back in my bank and just used the other £100 for random bets. Win some lose some with that and it's just a bit of fun really to keep the footy interesting when LFC aren't on the box. Makes soccer saturday more intersting anyways.

But I bet it's a rate buzz winning £2000!
