He wouldn't have started anyway. It's an away game in the Champions League.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

As Dunk says on the other side I believe he's being 'rested' for Sunday.

Of the two I believe the Man U game is the most important, and Rafa won't want to risk him not being fit for that game. Just my opinion, and Dunks!

And as has been said, we have Zenden to replace him!

                    Hamstring problem.

Not good news. Precaution in light of the upcoming game at the weekend?

Gerrard rarely starts away games in Europe anyway (much to my dismay I might add...).

Can we just scrap this piece of **** season and fast forward to August 2007?
seems we're saying that every year

We'll be ok...Alonso will finally come out of Gerrards shadow and control the game like he can and should do.

According to Benitez's comments on .tv Momo has an 80% chance of playing. Hopefully that'll increase and we have Alonso/Momo midfield with lots of width.

Dissapointed agger won't be playing as I believe Sami's just too slow these days.

Still think, will all the injuries, we've got enough to get a result.
No, no, no.........I'm only scary 'cause I'm hairy

Big year for me 2008, hope it all goes well for me, oh, and you lot too!

Sami playing won't be a problem, the french game isn't exactly the paciest in the world is it.
