Calm down everyone. Drogba will rip Carragher another one making it seven or eight goals in his Chelsea career against Liverpool ironically breaking Carragher's record of most goal against Liverpool.

You're assuming Carra won't score another OG then.

I am the only one who thinks Chelsea aren't all that???
Kuyt always does well against A.Cole, Torres frightens the life out of Terry ever since that 1st game and Lampards new role makes him easier to mark as he'll effectively play against Mascherano.
If Carragher, Gerrard and Torres play better than Terry, Lampard and Drogba then we win.
Without question our team will be -
I'm not particularly worried about Chelsea but against any even midway decent teams this season we have contrived to have no link between defense and midfield and no link between midfield and attack for most of each match. We lack the right personality and organisation throughout the team.
We have an excellent team setup for dismantling crap sides but have struggled as soon as a team has been organised and willing on the counter and at set pieces. We need someone to step up and quickly. I was worried before the Fiorentina game that we hadn't learned much about the team in the games we won and that game pretty much proved the point.
I'm not sure any of the outfield leaders (Carragher, Mascherano and Gerrard in my book) are the sort we need. We require someone to want to control the flow of the game and to make us keep shape and take the heat out of the game. All the remaining leaders are firebrands and/or leaders by example. I think more than his actual playing ability that is what we lost and didn't replace when Alonso went. I heard that Aquilani was captain of the Italian U21s and the like so maybe he can bring it but at the minute we lack it badly.
Skrtel and Agger at the back have always to my mind lacked enough of a sense of responsibility and that is exposed more by the fact we now have attacking fullbacks. I guess players have come of age in big games before but I feel the game will be won or lost on whether Lucas and Skrtel can step up not only to play good games but to be a good influence on those around them. I'm a big fan of Lucas as I'm sure everyone knows but I have long said his biggest weakness is that he doesn't impose himself enough and doesn't lead or organise.
So all in all. I'm not that optimistic.

Be honest, you've both seen Fredo leave and think the forum will miss the Neil Young v Fredo battles.
Hence, the new bickering of RedReet v Craig H!
I didn't realise they could be seen as battles.
The term suggests fredo was capable of putting up a fight.
Mind you, this place was a lot less boring with him around - you lot are very, very tedious, sorry, I mean serious.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I always imagine you smiling and grinning to yourself as you hit the 'post reply' button Neil, almost with the satisfaction of someone who is actually funny.

You've even got your little cheerleader in tow
You really do excel yourself at times.

It feels strange at the moment, I'm sort of buzzing one minute looking forward to Sunday, the next I'm really nervous thinking we're going to get a hammering.
It will be a weird one I reckon, we didn't play well the other night but apart from that our previous form has been ok. I'm going to take optimism from the fact that Chelsea were cack against Wigan and weren't too great in midweek either, I'm also going to take optimism from the fact that Rafa lashed out at the lads too so at least they will put in a better performance. These types of games are so nerve wracking, I dread to think how the players feel when we as fans want to puke.
I just can't help but think that Dog breath is going sneak one again and he'll do his usual rolling around all over the shop like the cheating shi*house that we all know he is.
I hope that we do play as a defensive unit and sneak one again like last year. I believe that we will sort the defense out on Sunday and that the guys will have been working hard since the Fiorentina game working on the set pieces and zonal marking.
