He took what he had and made the most he possible could with it through hard work and dedication

If carra had the talent that ferdinand has for example we would be looking at one of the all time greats on a world scale not just for liverpool

What I meant is that whilst he's gone a little overboard for the purpose of making a story, the basics are quite accurate imo.

I don't believe that Lucas or Skrtel are worthy of being regulars. I don't believe Insua is either at the moment but he has potential, but he described the current back four as grueseome as a whole unit, and to be fair, they've defended very poorly so far this season.

Johnson is fantastic going forward but not great defending and worth £17m... I don't think so, but that is more a comment on the state of the game than a swipe at Glen.

He's talking about LFC not Chelsea, Man U or Arsenal, hence he's not spoken directly about other players, if he was he may have said the same about specific individuals such as Bosingwa, but lets not forget that he's talking about the unit at the back not working, and thats not the case at Manu or Chelsea at the moment is it.

He's meant to be a professional analyst, but he's got no credibility whatsoever. Even Andy Gray, a staunch evertonian, manages to usually curtail it enough to pass across as objective. Hansen's obviously a red but sometimes rips into us when it's warranted. These are proper credible football broadcast journalists.

Cascarino, along with Merson and others, is a jester-type figure, the kind of 'analyst' purely designed for us to point and laugh at.

He just doesnt realise it, which makes it more comical.
