    You don't think he's been ****e?
I've never seen him give the ball so much this season compared to seasons before.
What i want from him is a big response against Sunderland away and United at home.
It's time for "Captain Fantastic" to step it up a gear or four.

that's right on the money Marky... i think Stevie looks like he is carrying around somebody else's ****e in his pocket at the minute. he looks sooo miserable.

He looks like the world is about to end - he needs to cheer up and express himself on the pitch, like only he can - we need the old Stevie back...........pronto.

I also agree with marky ...................against Chelsea he was our worse player and yet Lucas got slated ...............It might be personal stuff, injury or other but Stevie G has been off the pace so far this season .................the sooner he get's back the better IMO

Come on Marky, they are all playing below par, to single him out is unfair with such a throw away comment, at least this response gives a valid reason.

More importantly, with big matches coming up for the Reds, he might be a doubt for us? This depends on how serious this injury is.
            How insightful.

I have to agree with marky, Gerrard has been woeful this season. Completely anonymous against Hull and Chelsea, in fact he's been well below par all season.

Maybe he'll come back better for it?

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Yes, but you don't have Marky's way of words. Poetry I tell you
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Marky in motion must be poetry too.

Can you at least try and be constructive in your criticism? As someone else pointed out these one liners from you got boring a long time ago.

And these sort of replies aren't really helpful either, thanks.

My 2nd post in this thread is constructive, no? Stop deflecting attention away from the topic here.
With Gerrard, i remember him having many a quiet game last season but he still did the basics right like pass, tackling and controlling but he's actually looked a poor player this time.
Apart from the Stoke game when he was brilliant, he's been in shocking form.
We give him many plaudits when he plays well, maybe go ott but when he plays poorly, it's brushed under the carpet. I don't think that's right.

We need to sue. I loathe international football so much.

This is apparently off Henry Winter's twitter :

At Colney with England. Gerrard has just walked off from training, feeling groin muscle. Out of England. Doubt for LFC v Sunderland?

Sky reporting that as well now Chris.

STEVEN GERRARD handed Liverpool a fresh injury scare today when he limped out of an England training session after just 10 minutes.

The Reds skipper, who came off at half-time in Ukraine with a groin strain, has been receiving treatment all week but was rated an outside chance of being fit for tomorrow night's final qualifiying game against Belarus.

He left the training pitch today, however, after barely 10 minutes, accompanied by England head physio Gary Lewin.

It now seems highly unlikely that he will feature tomorrow and his club boss, Rafa Benitez, will be anxiously awaiting an update from the England fitness staff.

With Javier Mascherano and Lucas both not expected back from international duty until Friday, and Alberto Aquilani still a little way of match fitness, the Reds' midfield options would be severely limited should Gerrard be ruled out of the weekend trip to Sunderland.
